I’m Lisa Jimenez, a woman on fire for transformation, empowerment, and the relentless pursuit of joy, peace, and freedom. I’m a mother, a wife, an artist, a speaker, a creator, and a leader who has spent nearly 40 years in corporate product management and event production. But my true calling, the one that keeps my heart burning with purpose, is to create spaces where women not only survive—they thrive.

For years, I watched the systems and structures around me—particularly in corporate environments—trap people in cycles of stress, disempowerment, and burnout. As a leader in those spaces, I quickly learned what not to do. I saw what happens when systems are built on control, fear, and patriarchal values that crush creativity and humanity. But in that observation, I also saw the power in women. I saw the strength, the heart, the potential. I knew that a different kind of leadership was not just possible—it was necessary. And so, I created programs built on heart-centered leadership, the kind of leadership that ignites the soul, heals the wounds of the past, and creates new pathways for women to lead, rise, and succeed without compromise.

My story, like so many of yours, is one of overcoming. I grew up in a family deeply affected by addiction and co-dependency, learning to navigate a world of chaos and pain. It wasn’t until I found myself in a relationship that mirrored those same dynamics that I realized the cycle had to break with me. Leaving an abusive partner while holding my two children's hands was the hardest thing I’ve ever done, but it was also the moment that marked the true beginning of my journey. That day, as we fled the nightmare, I realized that I was not just escaping a dangerous situation; I was stepping into a new chapter of my life—one of self-discovery, healing, and empowerment.

The violence I endured was not just emotional; it was attempted murder. The physical and psychological toll it took on me and my children was immense, but through it all, I found the courage to survive. As a mother, I vowed to break the cycle of abuse for my children—to show them that no matter the trauma, we have the power to rebuild, rise, and reclaim our lives.

The path ahead wasn’t easy. It meant facing my deepest fears, healing wounds that had been buried for years, and finding the strength I never knew I had. But it also meant discovering my true purpose: to help other women who were stuck in similar situations, to show them that they are not alone, and to empower them to take control of their lives. Today, I’m committed to helping women everywhere find the strength to rise, just as I did.

As a single mother, I faced unimaginable challenges. I fought not only for my survival but for my children’s future. I went through court battles, financial hardship, and the painful reality of having no family support. But I knew that if I didn’t break the cycle, my children would inherit it. That’s when I started volunteering at a women’s shelter in San Jose, California, and began my path toward creating something bigger than myself—something that would help women everywhere feel supported, heard, and empowered.

Through it all, I stayed in my corporate tech career, holding my ground in a world that wasn’t always kind to me. I became a coach, a healer, and a business growth consultant, driven by the desire to create real change—not only for myself, but for other women who were struggling with the same challenges. Along the way, I saw the deep, unmet need for a safe space where women could come together—free from shame, free from fear, and free to speak their truth.

But despite my own extensive search for such a space, I couldn’t find it. So, I decided to create it. I built a platform where women could find support, empowerment, and connection. I knew this space had to be more than just a place to gather; it had to be a sanctuary where women could heal, grow, and reclaim their power—without judgment and with the freedom to step into their authentic selves. And that's how SheIsMe was born.

I created SheIsMe Global as a sanctuary, a movement where women could reclaim their voices and their power. I called on the women in my network—mentors, coaches, doctors, even a Hollywood movie director—and together, we held the first SheIsMe Conference in 2021. The response was overwhelming, and we’ve since grown to include over 400 speakers from 34 countries, each with their own unique yet universal story of triumph and transformation. Our stories connect us, showing us that we’re not alone. And through those stories, we inspire each other to rise, to lead, to heal, and to break free from the limitations that society has placed on us.

SheIsMe isn’t just a community; it’s a revolution in leadership. It’s the reclamation of our strength and our authenticity. It’s about stepping into our power, leading from the heart, and creating spaces where women support each other in rising to their fullest potential. The world needs this now more than ever. The old ways of leadership—the patriarchal systems that no longer serve us—are crumbling. And it’s time for women to step into their rightful place as leaders of this new age.
